Machinery
Specialties and Engineering Co. was founded in 1965 by
John H. (Jack) Sherman. Over the past 45 years, company
production has centered around:
- Structural
steel fabrication.
- Custom
designed packaging equipment (i.e. assembly
machines, collators, cartoners and conveyors) for
all industries, including food service.
- Automotive
component fabrication.
The
attention Jack Sherman gave to every customer still
remains the center of the company philosophy as sons

Our
goal is to train and educate our staff to always think
and work innovatively ... to question every process ...
to be willing to take on tasks never before attempted,
and perform them to customer satisfaction. This is what
our customers can expect from Machinery Specialties.
In
1979 Machinery Specialties moved into its current
location, a modern 25,000 sq. foot facility in the heart
of the Bluegrass Industrial Park. Our plant has a
complete machine shop, a saw and cutting department and
a 10,000 sq. ft. fabrication area with all the necessary
equipment needed to handle any structural job that comes
through our doors.
Since we are
located in one of the nations? largest industrial
parks, we have most of our suppliers just around the
corner. This saves us, and our customers, time and
money.
